How to become a good leader even if you are an 'inexperienced' one.
Do you want to be ONE of the effective leaders out of TEN, even if you are new or considered a neophyte in your organization?
Then, you should read every word in my letter for you because this could change your life.
Dear Neophyte Leader,
Are you stressed out? Are you working in a stressful workplace surrounded by unhappy people? Are your subordinates always late for work or calling-in sick? Are you meeting targets in your department? May I know who LEADS the team?
You are reading this letter now because you answered “I AM” to the last question and would want to answer “NO” to the previous ones. Of course, you are hoping to change your situation and would not want to stay long in such a workplace. Worry no more, for the key to rediscover yourself as a leader and rebuild your leadership style is in your hands.
Before I discuss with you my eBook, let me introduce myself.
My name is Fernando R. Pacia, born and raised in Malabon, Philippines. I am an Engineer and Masters Degree Holder. My exposure has been in managing operation and conducting training courses ever since. I traveled to train in Japan, worked in Dubai and United Kingdom, until fate brought me to Michigan, USA. And let me share with you my very interesting leadership journey.
I was once in the same leadership position like you. I was too young and naive when I started leading people. I have no slightest idea on how to properly handle and manage people. Because of that ignorance, I led my team to hate me for I flaunt my authority over them, coerce them to do what I wanted them to do, and implemented strict rules to impose discipline and demand obedience.
It was the only kind of leadership I knew. I failed big time back then! I strained many relationships with my peers and subordinates. I made our work environment stressful and full of pressure. I felt so miserable as a leader.
My subordinates called me ‘JURASSIC’ behind my back. They looked at me as a grumpy and barbaric dinosaur expelling smoke out of my nostrils all the time. Wow!!! Really Now!?!?
Of course, if my subordinates were not happy and stressed out, my superiors were not at all pleased with my quality of work and my delivered results? At the back of my mind, I knew that they were just looking for the right time to kick me out!
So, believe me when I say I know how it is like to be a NO-GOOD LEADER. It wasn’t very long ago when I was struggling in a very stressful environment. But when I discovered the secrets of EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP revealed through THE BIBLE, my workplace became a happy place! Glad I discovered it early as a neophyte leader. It was not easy leading when you are young, inexperienced and impressionable. Yet, when you are open to learning and continuously searching, rediscovery will soon come your way. And this book, maybe, is a happenstance –happy chance to be on your hands!
What you will learn from this book are simple and practical principles that will empower you as leader –
I also shared here tools that truly helped me keep "The Right Attitude towards Effective Leadership” like empathy, desiring the advancement of your subordinates, open-mindedness, willingness to listen, sense and sensitivity.
Today more than ever, the teachings of Jesus, the stories in the Old Testament, and even the practical tips shared by the Apostles serve as a treasure chest full of leadership nuggets.
The Scriptures will not only help you become a good leader but will also enable you to spread The Good News while creating greater leaders in your workplace, at home, and in your community.
Here are more reasons why I believe that the Bible is the greatest source of inspiration and leadership lessons:
The Bible is filled with wisdom from God, and not just from human
The Bible gives us a Guide from the Holy Spirit
The Bible is True and Correct
The Bible is tested with Time
The Bible is the Story of Us
Once you learn the Seven Bible Guiding Principles, you will never be called ‘Worst Leader for All Seasons’ nor be secretly named ‘Jurassic’ like me. This is because “The Neophyte Leader” is a detailed step-by-step guide on how to become an EFFECTIVE and DYNAMIC LEADER. Just imagine a workplace where there are:
“iTeachULead is a helpful hub both for leaders and aspiring leaders. And its book, 'The Neophyte Leader’, is truly a great product that jumpstarts your journey toward a truly effective and Christian type of leadership.
Anchored in Scriptures, the book has helpful Biblical passages, thought-provoking anecdotes and analogies, as well as practical examples on how to apply leadership at home, in the workplace, or wherever you are.
The best part is that, just like their website, the book’s content isn’t one that’s hard to read, digest, and put into practice. It is structured in a way that you learn bite-size information and quickly apply it in your daily life.
Indeed, Engr. Fernando Pacia is like the Filipino 'John Maxwell' with a mission to create life-changing leaders in society.”
“My first impression when I saw the ebook was, ‘Oh, another leadership book,’ But then I quickly figured out it wasn’t just any leadership book.
It is like a mini 'leadership bible' based on the Holy Bible. That's something that I don’t see often in my country, Catalonia (Spain). So it definitely stands out from the pack.
It also has some witty/funny stories and examples that I enjoy reading. So this ebook will not bore you but will surely instruct you on how to embrace leadership without fear."
